A little about me….   I was born in Sacramento California. I Trekked with my parents to the central valley (Bakersfield, California) during my teenager years. During which time I was an indentured servant as I like to refer to it… Basically I was required to work for my parents before school, after school, and on weekends… At the time I didn’t think anything about it… And I have to say that I learned a ton about working with people. Upon turning 18, like most young adults, I imagined conquering the world. I had two Passions, one was to follow in the family footsteps, continuing in the construction business and the other was to enlist in the United States Air Force.

I choose the Construction business and by the time I was 22 years old I was well on my way to creating wealth as a land developer. My focus was on buying vacant land then constructing the appropriate structure, upon completion I would sell the property for profit.

I can remember, at 21 years old, I sold a 12-plex and cleared $65,000.00.  I thought I was rich. What I soon learned was although my knowledge of Real Estate could earn me an outstanding living there were areas of business I had yet to develop.

This lack of business knowledge created a constant, up and down, cycle of income and failure.    Going to the school of "Hard Knocks" was an expensive education to say the least.    I learned that my desire to achieve and my sheer determination to succeed wasn't enough.    I had to learn to run my business and stop letting my business run me.    

In '90s I became a real estate licensee and since a Broker. Originally I placed my license with Bakersfield's premier firm, Watson Realty.    Becoming a real estate agent gave me the opportunity to learn the other side of business.    It also allowed me the time to focus my energy on building systems and procedures.      

Utilizing these on purpose systems I contracted with 119 sellers to sell their house my Rookie year in real estate. I knew real estate, I understood it from the Investors perspective, I knew the ins and outs of investment real estate and land development better than most agents.     

With focusing my career towards helping investors find and sell property I have seen just about every business model out there for investors and can say that most fail because they do not understand marketing and do not see urgency in solving sellers concerns.    

I could show these guys and gals how to prospect but I couldn't make them change their model.    Some were trying to buy retail and sell retail. Few understood that they needed to buy wholesale and sell retail. And the ones who were buying wholesale couldn't sustain a system to promote lead generation.

I quickly decided to implement the marketing and business system that I preached to investors for myself.    I believe that you have to create an on purpose business model and work on your business not in your business.

My systems allowed me to contract over 200 transactions in 2005. Anytime you do that many transactions yourself you realize that you must have figured it out. By The way 2005 happened to be the highest appreciation growth year in my area in years.. Everyone told me I couldn't buy property for less than value in a market where sellers had several choices to sell their houses and I proved them wrong.

In late 2005 I decided that it was time to give back. There is an expression that reads, "to whom much is given much is expected" and although I am definitely not the riches of investor I have a calling to help investors grow and achieve as much as they desire.

I don't want the new investor to have to go down the rough road to success.    

My business model is one that every investor can turn on it doesn't take years of experience to create the wealth we are all seeking.

I have a lot of thanks to give to very important people in my life… People who without them I probably would have taken longer to achieve success and possibly would never have… People like Nancy who trusted me, people like Gabe who showed me the way, people like Ed who fought with me but still remains important.  

Let me say this clearly that we all have people in our lives that have made a difference… Rejoice in the fact that you have..

I love boxing... It's the one sport where your desire to win can be tested and challenged beyond your limits... a chess match of Pain, Endurance, Strength and Passion. A boxing match like real estate doesn't begin with the ringing of a bell it began years earlier with training and the decision to succeed.
